About the Brand

We believe that small, intentional moments can transform your day—and your life. That’s why we created the Dopamine Diary, a guided journal designed to fit seamlessly into your routine in just 3 minutes a day.

Our mission is simple: to make journaling approachable for everyone, even those who’ve never picked up a pen with purpose before. You don’t need hours of free time or elaborate rituals to experience the benefits of guided journaling—just a few minutes a day.

“I like that there are so many great actions to take each day. The prompts are so helpful.”

—DEBBIE

The Story Behind the Cover

When designing the Dopamine Diary, we wanted to create something beautiful enough that you'd want to leave it out where you wouldn't forget to complete it. So we partnered with master paper makers in Florence, Italy, to design custom marbled covers exclusively for the Dopamine Diary.

Once you’ve completed each 60-day diary, don't toss it in the trash! Display it on your bookshelf, desk, or coffee table, and let it remind you of the positive changes you've made.

Who is Felicity?

Felicity isn’t just our name—it’s at the heart of everything we stand for.

In Latin, Felicity means "happiness" or "good fortune."

The word is derived from "felicitas", meaning "happy" or "fruitful." The concept of felicitas in ancient Roman culture extended beyond fleeting joy to signify a deeper sense of contentment, good luck, and well-being.

We chose the name Felicity because it reflects the deep, lasting contentment that can be nurtured through small, intentional acts.

“Absolutely love the diary. Easy to understand and work on whether at home or on the go. I was able to pinpoint things about myself that I never picked up on before. I will definitely recommend this to friends.”

A Message from our Founder

A few years ago, I found myself stuck in a negative thought loop that was really starting to affect my daily life. I wanted to start a gratitude habit but needed something more that just a gratitude journal. My therapist recommended I try a journal focused on positivity.

Within a few days, I could feel the negative thoughts start to fade into the background and my outlook improve. After a few weeks, my mindset had significantly shifted for the better.

But the journal I used was too conspicuous to leave out on my coffee table where guests could see it, so I had to put it away when I wasn’t using it. It was never where I needed it to be, making it hard to keep up the habit.

I knew I could make something better, and the Dopamine Diary was born.

It's beautifully designed and discreetly branded, so I can leave it out and always have it within reach to continue my journaling habit. I knew I needed to bring this diary to the world so other non-journalers like me could experience the life-changing power of simple, guided journaling.

It's my hope that you love the Dopamine Diary as much as I do.

To your happiness,
Maggie
